Getting started

- This site is unofficial; it never connects a wallet or sends a transaction

Welcome. In about five minutes this guide explains two things: what HELIX is, and how to get the most out of this site.
What HELIX is
AWAKE HELIX Protocol (HELIX for short) is a protocol running on the Anubis chain. Its core token is AiLGNS and its rules are set out in the whitepaper. From 15 to 19 September 2026 the official Genesis Plan fundraise took place, and it has now filled. The HELIX protocol itself (the AiLGNS token, emission, pools, ve locking and so on) has not launched yet and is shown as "Pending launch".

What this site is
HELIX Observatory is an unofficial data portal, built and maintained independently by one person. It does three things:
- Reads real data from the chain and turns it into pages you can understand.
- Walks newcomers through the basics in these guides, and explains the whitepaper in the rules section.
- Offers a team tool to view your team's data and keep notes and groups. This is a member feature.
Public chain data is open to everyone, no sign-in needed. The team tool needs an account with an active membership; Managing your team explains how to get one. Notes, groups, tracked addresses and recent lookups in your account are stored on this site's server, and every sign-in records your IP address and device.
How the site is organized
The top navigation (a tab bar at the bottom on phones) has five entries:

A few more tools:
- Address search: paste any
0xaddress into the search at the top and press Enter to open that address's page with its community relation and Genesis records. On a computer you can also press/or Ctrl/Cmd + K to open it. - Language: 简 / 繁 / EN.
- Theme: dark or light.
- Block height: on tablets and wide desktop windows the header shows the latest Anubis block number live (it is hidden on phones and narrower desktop windows).
- Account: once you register and sign in, My account shows your membership, lets you buy one and change your passwords.
- Footer: the whitepaper PDF, the official dApp link and the disclaimers.
Checking a number
Under every live number there is a line of small print such as "● Verifiable on-chain · 1 minute ago":
- Status dot: green means the read is fine, yellow means it has not refreshed for a while, red means this read failed.
- Tap the line to open the number's provenance: "Direct chain read" when it comes straight from the blockchain, "Indexer" when it comes from this site's indexer (used for things like community relations that need a lot of history to be aggregated), plus the contract addresses, the block it was read at and when it was updated.
- Every link in there opens the Anubis explorer. Related numbers are read at one and the same block so they agree with each other, and they refresh in the background while you stay on the page.

Reading the status labels

| Pending launch | The protocol module behind it has not launched, so the chain has no such data yet. The value shows "—" |
| Whitepaper model projection · contracts are authoritative | A figure calculated from whitepaper formulas to help explain the mechanism, not actual chain data |
| Schematic | An animation or diagram that explains a mechanism and does not represent real values |
| Indexer syncing | The indexer is still catching up with the latest blocks, so the data is temporarily incomplete |
| Data source unavailable | This read returned nothing; it will retry automatically |
| Data may be out of date | The data has not refreshed for a while |
| — | No data. This site never fills gaps with estimates |
The principle is simple: what exists on chain is shown as it is, with its source; what does not exist shows "—" and the reason, never an invented value.
